My only concern is the estate tax which I think should stay at the lowest rate possible so we can leave more to our next generation. I would accept a graduated estate tax which would still involve the most wealthiest. I saved a lot of money and would like it to go to my children and grandchildren.

ReplyDeletethe bush tax breaks for big bussiness should be allowed to expire, the big bussiness owners like those from AIG, and etc, are the reason america's in this economic quagmier, they can't handle money, they're like dogs with credit cards they don't know how to use it, giving them more is stupid, give the tax breaks to the middle class and poor, we're the ones who drive economy, therefor we need it more than the fat cats.

ReplyDeleteWell Dean lets not leave out those crooks from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac which bonus dollars that are on par with the AIG' and other companies you are refereing to. If your going to point your fingers at a group, make sure you include the whole group, and not just a select few.
Why Janice, a graduated one? Do you not think that someone who has a little more than you didn't work as hard or harder for it. Why should they be taxed more. I don't see how taxing the richer is going to help, then they are going to just stop making as much money which means they will fire employees, maybe one of those employees will be you. Would that be fair. I just don't understand this tax the rich to give to the poor! Haven't a majority of the bussinesses that employ more of the people, put their blood, sweat and tears into these companies. Some had nothing for a long time and this is how they get rewarded. It is the middle bussiness man that is going to die from these taxes, not the super rich. There will always be a way out for them. And it is the middle bussinessman that employs the majority of The United States. So we will just be killing our own economy.
ReplyDeleteTaxation issues is one of the reasons that our founding fathers left England and formed a new country. We are quickly approaching the time when we need a "new" revolution; not to change our country but to change how revenues are gathered, spent, and then accounted for.
ReplyDeletePresident Elect Obama should not be raising ANY taxes but should BE lowering taxes for all.
Corporate income tax should be reduced below European tax standards to draw corporations back to the US. Those recieving a Welfare check each month should be put to work by the gov't. If they refuse; their check should STOP.
No mother should recieve a welfare check for more than two children. Gov't should offer to pay to TIE tubes for those that can't keep their legs closed.
Congress should limit the number of terms served to two. NO more professional senators for life. Allow those that really want to do a good job be there and work hard for 2 terms.
Congress MUST pass a BALANCED BUDGET AMENDMENT!! Why do I have to keep a balanced check book each month but President Elect Obama doesn't? I wish that I had access to the Treasury Dept. like he does. I could just print up some more of my own money.
OH. I would love to see a 130 LB. female line backer up against a 300 LB male line backer. I hope that SHE doesn't mind dirt in her face,mouth,etc.
